Problem Statement
Our project aimed to create a system that would seamlessly distribute rewards from various cryptocurrencies to token holders. While brainstorming solutions, we encountered a common roadblock: many available cross-chain services did not support all the tokens on our list. The challenge was clear: we needed a solution that could accommodate a wide range of cryptocurrencies without compromising on stability or functionality
Our client suggested leveraging existing cross-chain services available in the market. While this approach seemed practical, our research indicated that relying solely on these services might limit our project’s scope. Many popular cross-chain platforms, while effective, were not designed to support the extensive variety of tokens we aimed to integrate.
Solution
Recognizing the importance of a comprehensive solution, our team dove deep into the pros and cons of various cross-chain aggregators. After careful consideration, we proposed a proof of concept that would utilize multiple aggregators to enhance the functionality and reliability of our reward distribution program — ultimately aiming to save our client money.
We focused on two promising aggregators: Raango and 1inch. These platforms not only facilitate cross-chain transactions but also offer unique features that could cater to our specific needs.
During our R&D phase, we gained deeper insights into how these aggregators function and their potential impact on our project. We built a working prototype that demonstrated the feasibility of a cross-chain reward program utilizing both Raango and 1inch.
